LG 32LH30 LCD Entry Level HDTV

By James Danielson

Been thinking about replacing your aging analog TV? LG has been a leader in the electronics entertainment industry for years. They make tons of models of HDTVs at just about every price point. The LG 32LH30 LCD is craft fully designed bringing back a classic look for the new millennium.

HDTV is a buzz word meaning high density TV. It's the industry standard and in a few years, people will once again refer to their television as the "TV". HDTV just happens to sounds cooler! The eyes never lie. Go down to your local electronics gadgets store and you will see for yourself how clear the picture is. I don't need to be talking pixels and refresh rates. Sure they are cool for the geeks, but what really counts is what you see on the screen and how good it looks.

Many people are buying HDTV's because they offer a smaller foot print than older analog models. Most LCD TV's are a quarter as deep as the old CRT TV, and weigh about a fifth! A word of caution here-just because it takes up less room, don't be tempted to break the bank and replace that old analog CRT with the biggest unit that you can find. Additionally, the width and height are smaller too because the case surrounding the is practically non-existent.

The picture adjusting controls of the LG 32LH30 LCD are much better than competing models. The added Picture Wizard makes use of internal test patterns to help the user perform general calibrations the controls for sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, tint, vertical and horizontal sharpness, and back light.

The connectivity of the 32LH30 LCD very good. It offers two HDMI ports, an AV input + composite video, a RF input for antenna or cable, an RGB-style analog PC input, a component-video input, and an optical digital audio output located on the back panel. On the left side is the 3rd HDMI input, plus the 2nd AV input with composite video.
